The firearm is completely detailed. Stripped down to the very last part, all dirt, oil, grease and rust are removed from every part by a combination of solvent, washing and burnishing. Each part is checked according to factory specifications for wear or breakage and replacements are performed as needed. The gun is then reassembled, with clearances properly adjusted and test fired as needed.
